How to make 1st column remain while scrolling to the right? 1

Is it possible to have the 1st column remain in the window while scrolling to the right?

Yes. Simply click in cell B1. Then choose Freeze Panes from the Window menu. This will lock the A column and allow you to scroll to the right. If you wanted to lock the A column and Row 1 and scroll the screen up and to the right, you would click in cell B2 before Freezing Panes.
