Hi,
I'm trying to decipher a FACILITY message. But it seems that UIPE messages, which Nortel writes in its ISDN trace, cannot be decoded by following the format described in the the specs.

Is it possible to make Nortel to log the raw Q.931/Q.932 messages and not the UIPE ones?

Thanks,
Vic

P.S. This is an example of FACILITY message I'm looking at:

DCH 62 UIPE_OMSG CC_FAC_REQ REF 000001AD CH 0 TOD 10:36:03 CK 0508B1B7
PRIM HDR: 01 00 00 00 32 00
MSG HDR: 08 02 2D 03 03 00
GFFAC: 37 2A 13 00 9F 00 AA 06 80 01 00 82 01 00 01 01
A1 1A 02 02 06 01 02 01 04 30 11 12 01 30 A5 0C
0A 01 03 12 07 33 35 34 33 30 30 34

PRIM HDR: 01 00 00 00 32 00 = 1
MSG HDR: 08 02 2D 03 03 00 = 8233
GFFAC: 37 2A 13 00 9F 00 AA 06 80 01 00 82 01 00 01 01
A1 1A 02 02 06 01 02 01 04 30 11 12 01 30 A5 0C
0A 01 03 12 07 33 35 34 33 30 30 34 = 6111122612141137

using hex to ascii converter.

Thanks for the hint!

FACILITY IE should start with 0x1C. Conversion of GFFAC to '6111122612141137' doesn't seem to have it.

I also don't understand how we can get 611... from '37 2A 13 00 ...'. Can you please point me to the converter you're using.

Thanks,
Vic
