How to install Norstar v-mail system 1

How do I connect a Flash / Norstar Voice Mail System to a Meridian Modular / Compact DR5. I already have the Meridian system working, all lines programmed and ready. I only need to know what special cable, etc. I need.

All you need is line cords to plug into the mail, connected to ports off the N*

there is no special cable all u need to either a base cord or some calbe and a some RJ11's and a cripmer.

depending on how many ports ur flash is thats how many DN's u hook to it.

IE: 2 port = 2 DN's
4 port = 4 DN's

example I have a 4 port unit and I have Dn's 232-235 set for that use.
232 and 233 in one RJ11 and 234 and 235 in the other

*standard 4 pin RJ11 wiring 232 on pins 2 and 3 and 233 on pins 1 and 4*

my problem, inactive feature when I try Feature 903 or 983

I read in the CICS PROBLEM post that the vm will not work if is not compatible.

I have the following hardware, are they compatible??

Evb,
It is not a hard thing or expensive to upgrade your 8/24 to accomodate the Flash. It will be harder to get an older voice mail and keep it working as long as the flash will.
