OK, our dispatchers pick a line and dial the area code and are often scrambling to find the number to dial, when they find the number, often their call line has been dropped due to inactivity.

We are using a BCM 50, can anyone point me to where this time limit can be increased so the line is not dropped?

Thanks in advance
Matt

It's called Dial Timeout, it defaults at 4 secs. Have them try Pre-dial.

u can increase the dial timeout. i think it's under dial plan or global settings.

Dialing Plan, General settings, dial timeout was it.

Thanks alot!

Matt

Just so you know....
That's a "global" setting and will affect every user on the BCM for all outbound calls.
You can dial the number first and then press the line you wish to use.
