Is there a way to forward calls to another internal extension if I'm on another telephone set other than my own? I'm using IP Office 500 and Nortel T7208 phone sets. What I'm looking for is the short code to enter from any phone which would function like "Please enter your extension", "Please enter forwarding destination". I'm trying to avoid having the user call IT and us making the forwarding change inside IP Manager.
There are 2 users and 2 extensions built, QI Director x1909 and Complaint Hot Line x5490. There are 2 incoming call routes built, -1909--->x1909 and -5490--->x1909. There is a Nortel T7208 connected to x1909 and no telephone set connected to x5490. Each number has it's own voicemail account. The QI Director only wants one phone set in his office but wants to answer calls to his number xxx-xxx-1909 as well as xxx-xxx-5490. If he is out of the office he wants to forward calls made to xxx-xxx-5490 to the CEO, CFO etc.
