We have multiple users sharing a workbook in a shared mode. Our environment is mixed Win98/Win2K Office97/Office2K.

They can use the workbook for a couple weeks, then all of a sudden there are a few that begin to get "Excel has generated an error.....". The only way to get them to be able to open it again is to unshare it.
It only seems to happen on the PC's running Win2K/Office97. Win98/Office97 PC's seem to be able to open it OK, and Win2K/Office2K pc's seem to open it ok.

Has anyone else experienced this type of problem.

We are currently experiencing this problem with Excel 2000/Windows 2000. Some users receive the error message "Excel has generated errors" when opening the workbook, however some users can open it ok.

Have you found out anything to address this issue?
