I looked at the FAQ and was looking at the DTE info.
Is there a way I can find out the IP address of a IPO just short of resetting it via ATX commands.

Finally got into the damm IPO, set it for a static, saved and reboot but I'm not seeing it on my 10.100.X network.....

Yep, in the DTE output you will see an entry for LAN1 and a hex output next to it. Type the hex entries into the PC calculator and change to decimal to see the number.

Have never DTE into a unit yet.
Will I need to send it the AT command ?

No , you wont need any AT commands to view this. Just have the Hyper terminal/serial port settings as:
Bits per second
38,400
Parity
None
Flow Control
None
Data bits
8
Stop Bits
1
Settings | Emulation
TTY
Connect and power up the IPO and you should get the full DTE output

look in your config
maybe you made a fault like 10.10 or so

Never mind, I found a conversion table to use to figure out ip address of ip office (Hex to Decimal conversion chart).
Thanks for the tip.

the easyest way ie to run ethareal and reset the system the system will broadcast its ip address

@TheDoz

using PC calculator, select View>Scientific

Once in scientific mode, select radio button next to HEX. Enter hex digits from left to right, two at a time.

so in your example
c0a82a01 relates to c0.a8.2a.01
enter c0 while in HEX mode then select the radio button next to DEC and it will change the c0 to 192. repeat for each of other octets.

as you know by now, the hex listed above is the default IP of 192.168.42.1

Thank you Gibsonic,
That was too easy.
That saves me from looking at my reference chart.
Thanks a bunch.
