I'd like to find a particular part of an auto attendant message and replace it with another message. I'd also like to remove and skip a message. How can I do that?

I've tried with Audacity once again and got the message playing but with noise. Which software do you recommend for editing the message?

We use Audacity.
64kbps
8 bits
1 channel
(mono)
sampling rate = 8kHz
audio format = CCIT u-law

I think this is what I did. And now I've done it again. The message plays but with massive noise. Here are some screenshots. The file opened with Audacity is the original file downloaded from user1. Whereas the properties box is of the exported file from Audacity.
