I have Nortel Meridian Systems Option 61c

I have created an ACD # and foward it to an external number but when someone calls from the outside it goes to the operator.
what am I missing?

LD 15, in your RDR block make sure you have CFF in the OPT. It's most likely set for CFO

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

Okay, what are the commands I have gone to ld 15 rdr and on opt I put in cff then what? I'm not sure what to then

Have you tested since doing that? Still going to operator?

your acd is maxp 1 ncfw with ac1 in front of it right?
9,xxxxxxx

Mato' Was'aka

When you setup the ACD, on the NCFW did you do 9xxxxxxxxx or did you use the Access code to the route you wanted to send the call out on?

I use the Access code and the number and I don't have any problems.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

this the way I did it

ld 23
new
acd
acdn 1860
maxp 1
ncfw 91866####

then I just took the defaults.

take look at these items

EXTT (NO) YES (Prevent) Allow unconditional external Trunk to Trunk transfer.
Enter YES to indicate that a caller can transfer a call made to
one outgoing trunk to another outgoing trunk without restrictions
based on supervision. Trunk to trunk connection features such
as TGAR/TARG and Trunk Barring still apply as appropriate.
Enter NO to indicate that the transfer is allowed only if conditions
regarding supervision are met. This prompt only applies to
situations involving two calls originated by the same caller.
FTOP (FRES)
TBFT FTTB
FTLY
Flexible Trunk to Trunk Connection Option

EXTERNAL XFER
A couple of things to look at in the CDB.
Net Data - TRNX-YES
EXTT-YES

RDR Data - CFF (not CFO)
FTR Data - CFF

Try usin the Access code instead of the 9.

ncfw xxxx1866####

that's just it I don't know the access code....the guy that use to work on this left so now i'm forced to take over for now. which I don't mind.

but I'm trying what bigindian65 typed.

your know your routes? prt the local one in ld 21 prt rdr
since your using toll-free - out the local route. acod will show on the prt out. Don't know your route? prt your exchange in 90 (nxx) go to 86 prt that rli - there is your local route, back to 21, there is your acod.

It's probally route 0 and you can print it in
LD 21
REQ PRT
TYPE RDB
RDB 0 Enter until is prints and you will see the ACOD.

question can someone clear this up.. opp cff, maxp 1 acd ncfw to 9 plus... what is the forwarding ncos.. since an acd does not have a ncos or frl, isn't it still the trunk? if i use cff and maxp 1, i set the inbound trunks to ncos x to allow the call... or use a phantom and rcfw it so i have an ncos..

cff/cfo has almost zero effect on a maxp 1 acd in my switch..

the acod works if the fcr is built as an allow.. and tgar/targ is not blocking... if your coming in and then out on the same route you have to targ x... the routes i use for that have no targ (not 0, just blank)..

TIE
sigo:
std - trunk ncos
ESN - orig ncos
ETN - tcos/tcm as FRL

Mato' Was'aka

i agree with that, but if your using maxp 1, the only ncos is the inbound trunk... one solution is to build a dsc, frl 0 with a dgt that deletes the orig dialed dn and inserts the 7 digit number.. the forward the set to that dsc, make sure the set has cfxa..

there's always a work around
