We had our 3904's connected to a CallPilot system but the company was sold off. So that CallPilot system is no longer accessible to us and we are using a hosted voicemail solution now. However this station in question is not connected to it, yet. But the message lamp is still on and I don't know how to make it go off. Help! Thanks!!!

Below is the DNB and TNB for that set:

On any phone you can program a MIK key and an MCK key to turn these lamps on and off. So on any phone program a MIK key and a MCK key. The MIK key turns on the indicator and the MCK key turns off the indicator.

to turn it on press MIK key and dial the DN then press the MIK key again
to turn it off press MCK key dial the DN then press the MCK key again

To Add a key to someone the command would be:
LD 11
CHG (req)
3904 (type)
2 0 0 4 (tn)
yes (echg)
key 12 MCK (item)

Right? It's giving me an error saying SCH1371 followed by an SCH0030 error and the key doesn't stay.
Help!

LD 11

CHG (req)

3904 (type)

2 0 0 4 (tn)

yes (echg)

key (0 - 11) MCK

key (CR)

Key 12 will not work on a 3904 set

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!

Thanks bdmcdonald99! I got it programmed.

Got it programmed but the procedure I gave him did not clear the light. I had the person do the following:
1) Get dial tone
2) Press MCK key
3) Press 2 0 0 4 (message light should flash)
4) Press the MCK key again

Is the correct?
Thanks in advance for any help!!!

1) Press MCK key
2) Press 3288 (local)
3) Press the MCK key again

Light will go out.......

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!

Thank you so much... this worked!!! The light is off!
