Hi guys, I have a S8500 Avaya media server and It use Avaya Intuity LX R1.1 (Voicemail)

Everything works fine, but I need to do a change

I have 4 extensions wich are defined in a hunt group, so when I call to the extension hunt group, the call is redirected to the voicemail, but I need to change one of that 4 extensions. I tried duplicating the extension I need to change and to swap its ports, I add the new extension to the hunt grou, but when I call to the hunt group extension, the new extension is never taken, I don't know if it's neccesary to make a change in the Intuity, but I don't know where I have to do that, I'm really frustrated about it and I don't know what else can i do.

Am I making something wrong, or it's neccesary to do something else?

Thanks in advance

In Intuity, display subscriber xxxx, remove subscriber xxxx, add subscriber xxxx.
Most fields are defaulted and filled in. Compare a working subscriber so you know how to add a new one.

Than you for your answer

The subscriber for that extensions doesn't exist, the extension I'm trying to change is conected from the Intuity PC to my 110 Panel, is one of the Audix ports, I don't know if It have an special name.

When a user need to hear his voice messages or to configure his greeting, the user calls to voicemail extension. That extension is configured in my CM as a Hunt group, wich use 4 extension, so 4 simultaneous calls to voicemail can be established. I need to change one of that extensions.

thank you :)

In the CM hunt-group for Intuity, the ports do not need DID stations. You may want to do this when you can be without Audix for a few minutes.

You can remove them from the hunt-group, remove station
xxx1, xxx2, xxx3, xxx4 and then add station yyy1, yyy2, yyy3, yyy4
and then add yyy1 - yyy4 into the hunt-group. Be sure to use the same ports that were on stations xxx1 - xxx4 for yyy1 - yyy4

This will free up xxx1 - xxx4 to be used for stations.

In CM, add station xxx1 and give it a coverage path to voicemail
In Intuity, add subscriber xxx1

Thank you again for your time,
That is exactly what I need to do, and that is exactly what I tried, but I don't know what is missing because even when a I did what you suggested me, the result is still negative, I restarted my Intuity but it is the same :´(.

Ey I have the answer now, It is necessary to do a change in the Intuity interface.
In the main menu, enter to Voice System Administration menu, then select Voice Equipment Administration and then enter to PBX Extensions to channels. In the starting PBX Extension field type the new extension number and in Starting and Ending channel number type the channel number of the current extension, if you don't know what is the channel number, you can go to the previous menu and enter to state of Voice equipment and there you can check all the details about extensions and channels.

Regards
