I cant get a calculated value from a query to display in a text box within a sub form. All it shows is #Name?.

We have an item with a Type, length & quantity fields, of which we need a total, based on a fixed unit cost looked up from another table, based upon the selected type.

Another way to put it is .....
We have 2 fields in the sub form, which both come from combo boxes and need to be multiplied together, then divided by 1000, then multiplied again by a value in a different table that is associated to a 3rd value chosen in another combo box.

Thanks a ton!

I have a form that has two text boxes that are tied to a table and another text box that is not tied to a table that contains a formula that should take the data in 2 of the text boxes and multiply them by each other and multiply that by a value that has been returned from a query of a lookup table that has matched the data in one of the text fields and then multiply it by the product of the 2 multiplied fields and show the output in the text field that is not tied to a table.

TextA x TextB x lookupvalue = TextC and the result should display in the text box that is not tied to a table. All it displays is #Name?

Which formula did you try ?

Hope This Helps, PH.
