hey everyone,
can you please help .
i have an ip office 500v2 which i have configured emmbeded voicemail for use as its main function for my client's office. now my client wants me to show him how he could get hold of all his voicemail from the ip office and make a backup for future use.
is this possible and if so can someone explain to me how to do it?
thanks

use vm to email & set each user to copy their vm to a specific email account

but my client does not want me to set neither copy nor forward the voicemail to email.
and most suprisingly this is a new requirement he came up with after i purchased and configured the system. so i just wanted to know if i could still do it or does this require me to purchase a lisence for this feature?

then this will not be possible with embeded VM*

*at least not in any way that is suitable for deployment on a customers site

then purchase VmPro and do it via backup of the voicemail folder but with embedded no go.

Customers do that :) but if it was not part of the initial requirement then there is usually a cost involved. In this case VmPro license and server.

ok i understood guys and thank you , but isn't there a way anyway i could locally locate the folder that stores the voicemail on my SD and back it up for now while i ask my client to prepare his balance to purchase the license?

No
if it is as important as implied to save every VM then even auto backup on the VM pro may not be enough, your customer probably needs to re-asses his requirements or pay for a high end solution :)
