We have PABX with version of rel4.0 and rel4.5 and is planning to assign a user access right for a user to use LD20 only. Can you help to show us the steps on how to create it in LD17?

u need the 2nd level password to build new logins. without it, you're toast.

once you get it, do a search on here for LAPW or on one of the NTP's. the acronym stands for Limited Access Password.

You also want to assign LD 22 as you will not be able to do a DNB without it.

You will have to assign 10,11, and 32 to properly use 20, unless you want that person to only use the print in 20. Otherwise it is linked to the other loads that you will have to allow access to.

Thanks tnphoneman, I get the 2nd pwd and can add new user with Ld20.

Johnthephoneguy, can the user access LD10, 11 and 32 if I only assign him LD20?

no, Load 20 by itself is just a print load. They linked the others to it in later releases but you still have to give them access when building a login.
