hello,
we have an avaya ip office 400 system server 700417207 with 46(23+23) voice lines going coming in from the outside of our office and 46(23+23) lines going to a dialer server. We want to add line capacity to have 46 more lines coming into our office. Is that possible with the system server we have or do we need to upgrade to a more powerful one?
thanks,
david

You can have a total of 8ea T1/PRI circuits using the IP500 PRI Uni Dual Cards . You currently have 4.

If I understand your main question, then yes. You will upgrade your 406 processor to an IP500 processor. As Kyle said, the IP500 can support up to 8 PRIs. You do not need to replace the entire system.

fshaw, i think the ipoffice400 bit was a typo. i would treat anything reffered to as a system server as a 500. and the 700417207 suggests he has a 500 too. as well as the title of the thread.

Yea 700417207 is the part number for an IP500.
