I apologize in advance for my newbness. Trial by fire here.
I've inherited a IP 403 system that's on rev. 3.2
It has a VMail Pro License which I've setup with an autoattendant.
Everything works great, except right now the location is split up into 2 physical sites. The main location comes into the IP 403 system, while the 2nd location has a separate phone number.
Is there a way for the autoattendant to transfer a call from the main location -> to the 2nd location? I've currently got the Autoattendant setup with a "transfer" and then dialing the 2nd number (7-digit with a 9 prefix). This works directly from an internally connected phone, but when dialing externally, the call is dropped. Am I missing something?
It's a small school, so currently there's two analogue trunk lines servicing the main location.
I hope this describes everything. Please let me know if I'm forgetting something. Thanks in advance.
