This problem has annoyed me alot.
When I first installed Flash (5) - the layout was nice and clean, with the toolbar opened at the left, and the 4 standard panels (Info, Character, Mixer and Instance) opened at the right of the screen.
The Workspace with the Stage, and also the Timeline, was in the middle - and their right edges were stopping before the panels started, therefore all windows were showing.
Suddenly, one day, when someone else had used my PC, I opened up a .fla - and then the Workspace / Timeline had been "maximized" all the way out to the right of the whole screen, so that the panels were on top of it all, hiding the part of the Workspace / Timeline that was beneath it.
And then it stayed that way, every time I tried to open another .fla, it showed up in the same layout.
I tried to find a checkbox or something to turn that stupid maximizing thing off, but I didn't find it. So I removed Flash and re-installed it - then I got the usual layout again, with the Workspace's / Timeline's right edges stopping just before the panels. And prayed that the other person that's using the PC wouldn't mess it up again...
..but sadly enough, she *did* mess it up again.
Please!! Does anyone know how to re-set the original layout, without having to re-install the whole application?
Please help me...!
Clokkevi.
PS. Just FYI: I did try "Window" / "Panel Sets" / "Default Layout" - it doesn't help.
