I'm testing to get IP Softphone r.6 on Windows 7 and want to check first if my switch has enough IP Softphone licenses.

How do I check in ASA the number of available IP Softphone licenses?

I'm running S8500 CM5, IP Softphone 5.2 SP4, thank you.

We had some audio issues on W7 and IPS R6.

You should upgrade to One-X Communicator... I don't believe Avaya is supporting R6 Softphone on W7.

Thanks,

I did a disp capacity and lookted at page 11. The number of available IP station is what I should be looking at?

I found an Avaya IP Softphone matrix but nothing shows about compability with Win 7. Any documents out there with an updated matrix?

That will tell you how many concurrent LIC you have for each type of softphone.

Didn't read the first post closely enough, but with CM5.2, you're entitled to as many Softphone RTU that you have station RTU, along with One-X Communicator...

display capacity

Station Capacity: 3690 140 3830
IP_Soft 5 : 11 3819 3830 :
oneX_Comm : 1 17999 18000 :
