Hi folks:

I have a CS1K Rls 5.0 in a main site and in a remote site there's a Branch office Rls. 5.0, but this is the first time I work on a site like this and have the next doubts.

( I have tried to find and NTP with the information I required, but none with an easy explanation)

* How does it work?
* The 1000B has the main site call server database? or it's a different database.

Thanks in advance for your help

Friendly regards

Two PBX's, two different databases.
The IP sets redirect from the 1000b to the MO.

The 1000b is mainly used for fallback for the IP sets.
It can also support local analog and TDM devices, DTI/PRI.

NTP 553-3001-214

The only way you would only have to administer one database is if you had a SMG (Survivable Media Gateway).

Thanks a lot mjclothier, Your explanation and the NTP provided are very valuable for me.
