I apologize if this was answered before, but I can't seem to find this. I have 1 analog extension that needs to bypass dialing a 9 for an outside line, and just be able to dial 1+Area Code+Number directly, but I still need it to be an extension internally (for incoming reasons), therefore, I can't just tap it onto the outside line.

So lets say it's extension 410 - how would I have that go right to an outside analog line?
Also as a caveat, it needs to hear a dial tone to start to dial as well, otherwise it things the line is dead.

On the user shortcode tab add an shortcode N dial N 50

What is the "50" in the statement above refer to if you don't mind me asking?

wouldn't he want to make it a hotline dest phone, ?D in the user short code

N Dial N acts like ?D, it shouldn't but it was a bug introduced way back at 4.0 or so. Avaya knew because I told them, they agreed it should wait for the dial delay timer and/or count...but it doesn't and they couldn't be bothered to fix it...in fact I haven't checked for a while, so they may have :)

Wow learn something new every day, thanks guys and pink for Andy for the laugh
