Hotdesking via SCN-Phones auto logging out

I have a 3 site SCN IP office deployment which works perfectly for calls between sites etc.

However, I have some users who hotdesk between sites and I have a situation where the phones are auto logging out after a period of time when they are not on their "home system". The logouts seem sporadic so i don't think this is down to a timer but I have ensured that both the Login Idle period and forced login are disabled. The users are also not being logged back in at their home extension so I don't think this is a forced login issue.

Any ideas? The users are using different phone models are the remote location but I don't believe this to be a problem?

I am literally just looking at the traces now as it has just happened.

Both phones are dropping at the same time so it seems likely although I am not getting an alarm in SSA.

Monitor however shows the line around the time the phones logged out..

VPNNModule::Advertise Not enough RIPs received (2) from 10.35.0.200 (Waking)
PRN: AVRIP missed from pbx 10.35.0.200 timegap = 30010mS > 15000mS Latency 100mS

This is the problem.
Your connection is not good (enough)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thankyou.

What values should I be looking at for a good enough connection for SCN?

I have never seen it so i have no idea.
But this line says enough.
What are you ping times between the IPO's?

BAZINGA!

Also when it disconnects?
What kind of link is it and what bandwidth does it have?

It's a site to site VPN link

Bandwidth levels I'm not sure of without checking. I'm now going to do various pings to establish where we are seeing the delay.

My mistake, the IP link detailed in the trace above is actually for the third site which I know we have issues with.

I have just noticed the below in the trace which is one of the extension logging out, any idea what it means?

CMExtnEvt: JameS: No user activity

What sort of latency and round trips delay times should I be looking at for a solid SCN link?

I realize that is a difficult question to answer but I am sure this is a network issue but can't find any firm info from Avaya as to what sort of figures we are looking at.

How long is "logging out after a period of time"?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Varies.

Some days it logs out a few times a day but others it only stays logged in for a few minutes then logs out.

I am certain this is a network fault but need to prove it and help client resolve

Do the phones get "reset on URQ"? If so clear the phone to factory default
