Hot keys for labels

At a recent seminar, Tamor Granor recommended using hot keys on labels to navigate to their related text boxes. I just tried this for a form with several parameters and, although they showed up at design time, they were nonexistent at run time. My assumption is that they get overridden if you have a menu item with the same hot key, but I noted that doesn’t happen with command buttons on the form.

Does anyone know how to change this behaviour short of using command buttons for labels?

Never mind, I got it sorted out. I use VFE and my data dictionary settings were overwriting my design time settings. Fixed that and now its working fine.

But that doesn't answer your question. Do the hotkey labels get overriden by menu items with the same hotkey?
