Hot desking Not Working in SCN setup

We've got 2 IP500V2 on 9.1 with a working SCN trunk. Site to site calling works fine. We even have Centralized voicemail working. However. users at one site cannot login at the other site.We get an invalid login error each time. Is this a bug in the software ? They're using IP phones as well.

1st reprogram their log in codes;user/ telephony/supervisor settings/ log in code and then retest
 
joe2938, that’s the 1st thing I tried but it didn’t resolve it. Should’ve mentioned that.
 
Is the user using user rights?
If yes then all sites must have the sae user rights and this also applies to ARS etc etc etc.

re they loging in using the hot desk options
or are they tryig to re-regiester the handset (log out form the Avaya menu) this should not be done!

Well, User Rights isn't even coming into play because the phone won't even take the user credentials. I'm thinking this may be a bug in their current version and I'm considering of flashing it to the latest version of 9.0. They're currently on 9.0.3. Thoughts ?

I think it is more likely as IPGuru says, they are not trying to login as hotdesk users, but trying to login base extensions from the other site. This isnt a bug, but just the way it will work.

Get a phone that has a correct base station on it and then just get the user to dial *35*ext*passcode# to hotdesk onto the phone.

I understand what you're saying but I'm not trying to log these users in as a base extension. I can go to any phone that's already logged in and it won't accept any user credentials from any extension at the other location and vise versa. I've never had this issue before.
