Hi. Have multiple sites on an SCN and the users hot desk across sites which works fine. When trying to use ONE X to Hot desk at another site, it doesn't work. Comes up with the message saying "Your phone is logged out" It works fine locally, so if I select "Log in your Phone" and enter the details it does it. Not convinced it will work across an SCN as the ONE X always seems to look at the local IPO to see if a phone is logged in. Systems are on 9.1 and all phone are IP. The users base extension matches the user. Would it work if their BASE id was different to their user ID?
Thanks

Not clear in what you expect.

If you select "Login to extension" you should select a local extension and not the one at the remote site.

Are you asking that the users use different logins for the different sites? Because if a user signs in with either the Name or extension number, and all the correct server details it should log them in and work as if they have a desk phone. Make sure that they have a license as well.. at the company I work for we do this but on version 10

Is your One-x server on windows or Linux

How many One-X servers do you have?
while we are at it how many VM Pro servers do you have?

Just tried it and works fine. Admittedly Server Edition network but the underlying linkage is still just SCN. Tried various options to get it not to work and failed miserably

I suspect the OP has a separate One-x @ each location & probably separate VM Pro's as well hence my questions.

If the system has indeed been incorrectly configure in the way (as seems to be a common error) then it is not surprising that things do not work.

Hi All

Just one one x server and one VM Pro server. So user is registered at Site A. Wants to Hot desk to site B and use his one x and call assistant there.

...and call assistant" ah, that might be a fly-in-the-ointment that I didn't include. The call assistant login settings don't include anything about the phone being used. Maybe its stupid enough to assume your on your default extension.
