There must be companies out there that do this but I can't find them.

I have a client that only uses dial up once a day to collect emails, however she's being hit bad by viruses so 8000+ is impossible to download.

Are there companies that can pick up a persons email, scans / deletes infected ones then only fwd legit ones?

Thanks

Tez

Look at MessageLabs ( or Star Internet ( MessageLabs has a presence outside the UK, not sure about Star.

My home ISP (neither of these companies) has recently added server side A-V scanning and spam detection to all packages, so other ISPs may well do it in the near future.

Thanks for the replies.

I have tried to get her to move to an ISP that has scanning before delivery but it seems she is locked into a specialist portal and they don't have this feature.

I have used mail monitor, but im assuming that this is a standard package after she has downloaded the emails. She currently has norton.

I will pass on the details regarding message labs since thats about the best - it rang a bell once I saw the name.

Cheers
