Hold the Decimal Places

This is so sad that I am having issue with this.

When I enter for example 1.25 it rounds to 1, but I need it to be viewed as 1.25.

I have tried fixed format, decimal format, etc.

What am I missing?
 
Have you checked that the field is set to a suitable type in the table? Double and Currency are common.
 
Go into the table in access and make sure it is set to number for data type and for field size enter Double
in decimal enter the number of decimal places
