Hold music not working

Hi,

I am trying to find out why the hold music isn't working. I user CM6. A trace doesn't show anything. It just stopped working a few days ago. Any ideas?
 
Hi, I am not using a device, just the VAL board.
 
are you saying you recorded music on the val board?

try status val-ip board loca or status mg-ann and see if that throws up any errors depending on which val source you are using.

from there you can start investigating other avenues.

This just happened to me the other day. My VAL showed up, had to do a

list configuration board xxxxx

and all the ports were unassigned for some reason. I disabled ann board xxxxx, then enabled board xxxxx and all ports worked again.

But I have never recorded music to my VAL, just announcements.
