Hello,

I have a problem on a H4K v4.0. In this system we have a SIP trunk to an Alcatel PABX and a H323 trunk to another H4K (v2).

HiPath4K v2 - H.323 --> Hipath4K v4 <-- SIP -Alcatel

From V2 to Alcatel, it goes through V4 first and then to Alcatel.

The problem is: an extension "A" from H4K V2 calls an extension "B" in Alcatel, no problems there...but if the person "B" from Alcatel transfers the call to another extension "C" (inside or outside Alcatel), as soon as the call is transfered (after consultation), both "A" and "C" hear nothing for 6-7seconds (it feels like the call is down). After that they start to talk with no problems.

Has anyone had a similar situation?

Thanks in advance.

Hello sbcsu,

In my case, I checked SENTA version and it shows me: "SENTA version: 10"
Do you recommend doing the procedure you said?

Check the other cards as Don has done.
You need to copy out the loadware to the PC then copy it back to the STMI
The STMI will reload
It has worked for me on a V4
The latest version as of this date June-21-2011 is 'SENTA version 12'.

Well...

All of the STMI4 cards are with SENTA version 10...is that a problem?

But the version 12 is included in the latest loadware right?

If I copy out the SENTA file and upload it back to STMI it will stay with version 10 again, right?

In SEBA I can see the Feature Description for HiPath 4000 V5 and I see that RFC 3891 of SIP (replaces header) is supported. I wanted to check the same file but for the HiPath4000 V4, to see if it is supported. Can you arrange that?
With that I can get to my customer and tell him that he has to upgrade the PABX.

When you put the loadware in the normal way to the HiPath it does not update the SENTA loadware.
You have to copy out the loadware from the HiPath and then back in to the STMI card as above.
