I have a client that just picked up a 1.6GHZ workstation with 512MB of Ram. They get an error #43 on this one workstation when they reach a bit of code defining a browse window. This does not happen on a workstation running at 1GHZ with 512MB of ram.

Any Thoughts would help.

What version of FoxPro? (e.g. FPD 2.5b, FPW 2.6a) Exactly what code is being used to define the browse window? Do you have a MEMLIMIT set in your CONFIG.FP(W) file? (If yes, what values are you using?)

The client is running fpw2.6a and the memlimit is at 85,2048,4096. They have also previously installed the patch26 from microsoft.

I use:
MEMLIMIT = 60, 2048, 16384
Since #43 is "There is not enough memory to complete this operation.", this is at least worth a try. Note: I've found specifying more than 16MB (like above) to cause more problems than it fixes.

SAVE SCREEN and BROWSE ... SAVE can 'eat' a lot of memory especially if you are running on higher resolutions with greater color depths.
