Hicom AC WIn

Dear all,

The network cable for AC -Win had broken, was replaced.
On starting the AC -Win, the error returned was
"invalid attendant type: does not match hicom group configuration"

what could be problem?
How can I forward the AC-Win to another extension till this problem is resolved?
 
That would suggest that you have an AC-Win that the Hicom/Hipath/OS4K does not recognise -
What version of HiPath ?
Was it working on that HiPath before ?
What version of AC-Win - is it on XP or Win7 etc.
 
It was working on the same system.
The AC Win is on DHCP.
Could there be some problem wrt IP address?
 
Changing a lan cable does not cause an error like that.

What else did you do to the AC-Win before you decided to change the cable?

It sounds like you changed config or maybe reinstalled as wrong MQ/DQ.

If you can ping the STMI from the AC-Win I would not suspect an IP problem.

If the AC-Win is out of service and it's the only console, calls will follow night service routing which should already be configured. If not, NAVAR and VFGR will allow you to configure, NAVAR first.
 
If you changed the computer anywhere in this process, or the network card if it has one, the AC-Win used to be licensed by MAC Address (at least they made me give them the MAC addresses of the specific computers I was using). Also, if you are not running CLA on the same box as AC-Win it needs to know where to find that.

To piggy-back on what Don said... if the MAC is your problem, there are several MAC spoofing tools that can help you if you know what the MAC is supposed to be.
