Is there any way to disable the alarm reporting function on the hicom 300? I have a pbx that is running fine, but the modem keeps trying to dial out to Siemens to send the alarm. I did a download on the PBX Monitor and changed the customer support phone # to an invalid # on the pbx, but it still ties up the modem until it errors out. Can I disable the system from even trying to dial out via amo's ?

Thanks,

Joe

Hi, why you want to incapacitate the function of alarms of the Hicom 300? In the reality the sta-hista is an excellent tool of work that it informs of problems of layer 1,2, signalling of R2 (MFC/DTMF), ISDN, etc, etc.I think that you can look at in AMO feasu if this possibility exists. I go to verify with calmer and I come back to inform, ok? Greetings Josue.

Actually, I found that you can disable the automatic service calls with the amo RAFR. Just regen (for reference)then deactivate AFR3 and you still get hista entries, but don't have to worry about the modem trying to send them out.
