Hello I am new to the forum and although I searched it I couldn't find an answer to my problem. I have a Siemens Hicom 150E Office One installed at our offices(one ISDN outside line and four Optisets ) which worked fine for over two years, lately after a re-programming from the installer it started rebooting every 5-10 min! It actually looks like the power is cut off and comes back, all sets turn off their displays which return after 30-40 seconds . The installer replaced the power supply with another one (refurbished) but the same problem. Then he changed the Hicom with another refurbished one , but still the same. I have disconnected all sets from the Hicom , but no solution, I have also tried disconnecting the carriers digital line (S0) in case there was some junk coming in from the provider but still have problem. Can any one please help me find a solution to this problem?

When the phones turn off during the restart does the leds flash on the phones
When you say replaced the system. Was it all cards or just main board

Have you tried disconnecting each phone one at a time
Does the analogue extensions go off as well.

Thanks for the quick response...
Yes the leds flash during restart same as when I unplug the power supply an plug it back. I replaced the main board with another (refurbished-used), that the guy who installed it for me in the first place, gave me. I have no cards attached to the main board. I have also tried disconnecting each phone but it did not work. I have no analogue extensions attached to th system. I have an analogue phone connected to one of the analog outputs of the ISDN modem which working fine.. I have also tried the power supply in the metal casing I think is made in UK..

It could be the back plane is faulty can you get your hands on another box
And try same main board and psu
Have you looked at the error log?

Those power supplies are FLAKE-EEEE... I am afraid to shut mine off because I've had instances where they wouldn't come back on. Apparently there was some issue with them that has been fixed in the newer versions.....

I have had the main board replaced and the problem is fixed no more reboting!. So it was not psu problem.
Thanks all for their help.

I have the same problem with a hipath 3350. It doesn't shutdown completery, only the phones. There are two leds in my hipath that are allways blinking when it´s fine, but when it goes out they are static. They tested the power suply, voltage.
the manager´s error log only shows power down, but that is only after I reconected to the energy.
