Hi-Com 300 AMO & Ext question.

Hi,

We have a Hi-Com 300 at our facility. I can see where our Toll Free number is targeted (2274), but how could I change this to a different ext...sy 2126? Thanks for any help, or any tips.

Well.... I understand where you are, and I have a pretty good idea of the goal, but I can't remember the exact command right now for what you want to do. If I wan't in the middle of a big move I would dig thru my notes and find it.

Normally when I work with 800 numbers they have a designated ring-to number and I just call the provider and have them point the 800 number at a different ring-to.

As a consolation prize, go to this website. You will see a directory called e-docu, go in there. You will find the entire Hicom 300 programming manual in there. yeah, it's the UK version, but most of it is pretty dang close.

Are you tring to just change the target exten.? If so all you have to do is use the CHA-DNIT-DNI command and just change the exten number! That should work.

In your example dis-dnit:dni,2360 This being sent to x2264, this could be a HUNT grp, ACD pilot, ACD grp, or an ext in your system. To add another incoming number to except, just add another entry in your DNIT table. It must be a valid number in your system, verify with DIS-DPLNGTS,XXXX;^M.

To change the target number 2360 go to, just perform CHA=DNIT,DNI,2360,,,,2126;^M. Make sure x2126 is valid first!
