Help with Redundancy

I have a store that had a network problem on Aloha. The cable for BOH was accidentally unplugged from the network switch.

Aloha went down and the store manager put system into redundancy mode and called me. I rushed over, troubleshooted the situation and reattached the cable. Ran file system recovery and all was well. Store has been running fine for the last week and a half. Now today the FOH terminals are warning that system can only be in redundancy for 6 more days.

I verified that the system is not in redundancy mode. BOH has all of the reports for each day including current day. FOH terminals do not show the red redundancy border during order taking. It appears that everything is running fine, except the warning when logging into FOH terminals.

Something appears to still be flagged, but I can not find it. Any suggestions before the redundancy reaches 15 days?

Couple of things that you may want to check...

1. Make sure Lanacfg is set to 0 on the NIC.
2. Verify the Aloha/POS User has Admin rights to access the registry on FOH terms. The BOH is functioning because it sees the Hasp but the FOH doesn't.

check on both of those. Front of the house is not in Redundancy Mode. everything is writing to the Translog in the BOH data folder and everything on BOH is current to front of the house.

tried again to run Fileserver Recovery. It appeared to not do anything so I looked in Debout.svr on Back of House. Can see where I ran the Fileserver Recovery, but found this entry

Can someone explain NON ROBUST mode and how to fix this?

in the computer environmental variables
set robust = true

In the enviromental variables, robust-true. I also confirmed this by running set in a command window and it displays robust=true
however, in the debout.svt it says bRobust=false

How many NIC's do you have in this Win 7 box? IPv4 NIC needs to be 0. Double check this on both ends.

One NIC and it is set to Lana 0 for IP4. IP6 is disabled
