Greetings,

I have a form that I use to provided data for a report. Within that form, I have a subform that displays the results of a query. I would like to click or double click on the particular field within the subform and in turn, populate one of the fields in the main form with the contents of the record/field that I clicked.

The subform shows my order numbers along with the corresponding lot numbers for our process. There may be 5 or 6 order numbers displayed in the subform. I want to click on one order number and want a field in my main form to populate itself with that same order number.

I appreciate your advice.

Is the control on your main form bound? If not, you can set the control source to something like:
[tt][blue]
=[sfrmMyControlName].[Form]![ProductID]
[/blue]
[/tt]
Where the name of the subform control is sfrmMyControlName and the name of the text box in the subform is ProductID.
