link to manuals free download at Avaya in the FAQS at the top of the page , your looking for partner 11

there is a section near the front that gives you all the steps need to properly program voice mail /auto attendant .

you need to have your two lines put in a hunt group by the local telephone company so that when line one is busy it rolls to two that's not a function of the partner system .

you need to put the vm ports in hunt group 7 in order to access 777 (explained in the vm portion of the manual

Thank skip555 i've been all morning and part of yesterday all day and i can't find any info needed. We do have hunt group set up, because if more than 2 persons call users won't hear the busy signal, but if somone answers then they will hear the busy signal.

#206,7- assign CO 01 and CO 02.
#505,7 assign extensions 32 and 33 (assuming here that you have a 2 port VS, no expansion card plugged in).

Now when you dial Intercom 777 the VM should pick up.

Then do #506 to tell the system whether you want the AA to pick up immediately (1) or after 3 rings (delayed 2)when an outside call comes in.

Then do #507 to tell the system whether you want to have the AA pick up outside calls all the time (1), day only (2) or night only (3).

If you choose day only or night only use #503 to program a Night Service button on x10 so that you can tell the system when day and night is. When you press the button and it is lit green it is night.

hbiss

ok went system program and then #206 and it didn't recognize the code.

Thank You Hal

At extension 10 or 11, the one you use MUST be an 18 or 34 button display phone. Do (Feature)(0)(0), left intercom twice. Then do #206. What happens?

-Hal

its a 34D. From Ext 10 it will only let me type #20 then went i enter 6 nothing happens.

Are you sure that the processor is a Partner II and not a Partner PLUS?

-Hal

Also, when you enter the 6 it does nothing, it doesn't beep?

-Hal

are you sure your in system program ? left intercom

Sounds like you have a problem with the processor. What I would recommend you try is to default it. This will clear all programming and reload the software. After you do that everything will be at the original factory settings. You will have to reprogram anything that those factory settings don't suit but that may not be much since the VM settings account for much of it and that isn't working anyway.

To default it go into programming as before then do #98925327. After the system comes back up before you do anything else try to do #206 and see if it now works. If not it's time for another processor.

-Hal

Then there isn't anything left to do except replace it.

-Hal

so you defualted ? or it wouldnt defalt ?

can you get in to any programing ?

#101 ? #505 ?

what does the time and date say ?
