Hi all -
Does anyone know of any good products (or scripts, if someone's written any!) that will show a quick and easy summary of the current status of client backups currently running on a Networker server? For example, if someone comes to me and says "what clients are running at the moment, how much have they backed up/how much is left to go and how long (approximately) will they still be running for" ... is there a quick & easy reporting/monitoring tool that anyone knows of that can be run/brought up to show this in one hit?
Currently it's a really painful operation using the GUI (ver 5.5.2) having to go into each Group/SaveSet, and even then it's not easy to read through. I'd like to give this to anyone in the operations group so that they can run it easily for a quick update.
I'm looking at investigating the Legato GEMS Reporter, but I'm not entirely sure this will give an up-to-the-minute picture of what is currently running on the system - and that is what we need. Along with an easy picture of what backups have succeeded and what failed ...
Am I asking too much?! Please let me know of your solutions/ideas ...
thanks
Helen
