Be great if u can help as i know Otm wont work with this faulty dn in the system...................

Thanks

you need someone in pdt to fix that. if it was a new install i would do a new install.. otm just makes things like this corruption worse

Have you tried making a change to it to see if it will let you do that and then try printing it again.

Thanks for the replies.....acewarlock tried doing a change to the tn and it made no diffrence...):......
Johnpoole if you can recomend anyplaces/anyone for help on PDT as i know this can kill your switch.......
Thanks

YOU WILL NEDD TO FIND A VENDOR THAT HAS ACCESS TO NORTEL TECH

YOU WILL NEDD TO FIND A VENDOR THAT HAS ACCESS TO NORTEL TECH

you can check the nortel website, locate a partner link.. and yes pdt is a quick way to fix any problem..it is also a quick way to turn your switch into the next layer of a landfill..

do you have a backup that may not be corrupt? you can reload that from command and those commands are ones that we can help with.. no one gives pdt commands or passwords on line...

Looks like a possible problem in DN Tree/TN Tree in pdt. Not saying it will sort out your problem but some times on sysload the software repairs itself, usually takes about 3 sysloads on the trot. If not as above contact a vendor to get someone to sort it out in pdt.

Andy.

thanks for the reply Andy...if anyone could point me in the right direction of the pdt commands i need then im sure i can work through it.

Do you have the PDT Password?
If not get a Vendor/Nortel to do it.
if your not going to call a Vendor/Nortel then try a INI first and if that doesn't clear it, then do a SYSLOAD.

acearlock yes i have the pdt password i will try the ini a few times first then try a sysload if all else fails.......
thanks

acewarlock/bignose21 thanks for the help worked a treat did a ini on the switch a couple of times and now the tn is Unequiped and no more bug codes..............Thanks for the help..........

Yes the only way that I know is via "pdt". even then I would remove the TN, do a EDD followed by a reboot (if possible) to be certain that the corruption has gone. If you are installing OTM, then don't be surprised if you get some more problems!. I prefer to use the LD commands. I used to get plenty of TN corruption on systems that had used MAT/OTM for a while. Usually when one of them uses BFS!.

All the best
