Hi,
I would like to take some doubts regarding the one-x attendant, I need to configure even for an operator with a model extension 1608.
I have a CM 6.3.

It is necessary to have AES to install 1x attendant?
It takes the client and server on separate computers?
What do I need to communicate one-x attendant with the CM?

Tks

It's a big pain, but in short:

You don't need AES
Client and Server can be on the same machine
One-X Attendant registers directly to CM. You might need to open up some ports if your data and voice vlans are isolated and you're not using any softphone already.

I see ...

I did it but does not connect to the extension. I installed the full version, configured the DB and the LIC, most can not associate the extension to the CM.

Post screenshots of the problems you're seeing... I don't know what you mean when you say "it does not connect to the extension".

It helps if we can see what you see!

The following error print:

Message translation:

Login was not successful due to these reasons

- The extension to which you tried to connect has not been activated as extension
IP Softphone system administrator.

- The extension to which you tried to connect is not accepted as station
IP. For example, this error message appears if the extension is
configured to an analog terminal 2500, which is not accepted as IP station.

Check Set extension and try to connect to the server. If the login is not successful,
contact your system administrator.

already I checked all these options and had no success.

Right, so that's CM rejecting you for some reason. If you look at the 2nd to last page of "display capacities" you would expect to see something like ip_econs or something referencing an IP console license.

Typically when you purchase One-X Attendant, you'd get license entitlements you'd add to CM to permit those consoles. The One-X Attendant desktop software has its own license as well. Typically the software will install a co-res license manager in Apache on the machine and you'd license that One-X Attendant to a MAC address of the PC.

If you've done all the licensing OK, I'd say read the install guides and post your attendant configuration in CM.
