Can anyone suggest any good websites to learn vba for a beginner? In particular VBA for Excel

Thanks in advance

Barry

best thing I could suggest is try the macro recorder with some everyday things you would do and then look at the code. From there you can get a good start

I agree. Make a separate file with a worksheet in which you start collecting code. Record things and look at the code; see things here or on other forums, copy the code. Store everything into the one file. Comment everything you do....even little steps. Comment everything[/b[, step by step as you learn what each line does. It may seem tedious at first, but it will be a huge help in your learning process.

Record and comment.

Here are just a few places that offer some ideas on how to use Excel in VBA, lots of good examples as well. My searches usually ended up leading me to these places and then I stuck around and read about other solutions I may have required later.

For not so hard questions, I usually just google "excel vba ____" and usually find some help.

This forum is great for asking more complicated questions...
Don't forget about the keyword search as well.
