Hearing impaired

Customer has an 1408 digital phone, has a bit of a hearing issue and wants to be able to raise the volume on the handset louder then what already has been set to the loudest setting. Does anyone have any options out there that would be helpful..?

Doesn't want a headset, thinking more of controlled volume in a handset, might have to tell him a headset is your only choice with that kind of phone.

How about a megaphone in reverse?

Just up'ing the volume won't do him any good, he needs proper hearing aid.
