I have looked for the answer first, can't find anything similar to what I am trying to create.
I have a date in column A, then column B will have a number like 90 that represents 90 days which I would like added to the date in column A that the output will be in column C.
If I can get that much I think I can manage with the rest which is easier, to color Red the cell in column B if past the date in column D which is todays date.

Hi,

To change the color if greater than today:
Select the entire column with the sum (original date + 90), go to Format > Conditional Formatting.

Leave the first box set to Cell Value Is
In the next box, select greater than
In the last box, type in =Today()
Click on the Format button,
Select whatever formatting you want (go to Patterns tab for shaded/highlighted cells.)

i used anotherhiggins example, which works.i have one other step that i can not be accurate on. column A will have date entered, column B will have the amt of days (90,180,etc). can someone help me to be able to enter the amt of days which will accurately be added to the date in column A? i can do easier stuff but adding time and a count i can not do.

If you have a Date in column A and a number of days in column B, you cannot change the date in column A with a formula.

You can, however, calculate a date in column C as I originally suggested...
