Has anyone played with IPOCC

I have it all set up in the LAB with licences etc but for the life of me I cannot get the inbound calls to ring to a Topic.

I can call the agents OK and answer and transfer on the IPOCC Agent Software BUT if I call Topic 3001 it comes up call failed although it looks like its going to the IPOCC because on the display it shows the call Centre server name.

My system short code is as follows
30XX
Feature= Dial Extn
Telephone Number= 6999|>>.

I need some training on this or better docs, but this should be easy pulling hair out :)

Same issue here. The documentation was a bit, shall I say, lacking in details. The only training I've seen available is for sales.
 
Are there any options for a "Demo LIC" for IPOCC for lab use? Forgive me if I missed it in all of the docs.

I am curious about this as well. I am about to have my first go at IPOCC. Seems like some 3rd party folks have some really nice ACD/CallCenter applications for IPO but they are $$$$.
 
Crash, you have created a topic with the post dial to be (XX) 01-99? So if you dial 3001, and you have a topic set for 01, you get nothing? Is your extension 6999 registered in the IPO?


 
Make sure you have the agent logged into the Agent Group.

I didn't got it to go having another look at it this week because Avaya have now got some training organised.

Have put it on the back burner until Avaya sort out training

Yes the extension is already registered to the IPO, annd I can see the username on the phone. If I dial the topic, nothing happens, just dead air. when I check CHAP logs I saw below logs:

You need to configure the topic and if you did not then it won't work.
IPOCC has almost nothing to do with the IPO, keep that in mind.
You configure it all on the contact center.

Hi tlpeter, i have already configured the topic and also activated the task flow and i have no error on the task flow. correct me if I'm wrong i think the task flow will not be activated if the topic doesn't exist nor not yet configured, is this right?

I have been on a course but there was so much mentioned that i cannot even recall it.

My guess, is that you do not have a MOH file in there, so the call flow is working, but you are on hold with no MOH.

Try adding the Music file, and then change your Task flow to use the new file


 
telecomtekperson , the call to topic doesn't reach the available Agents, if i was put on hold the Agent's phone should be rang first and on the caller side, callers should hear ringing but on my case i hear nothing, :(

Is that your real name very cool

Got it to work set up the SIP domain

Step 1 In you DNS server add a record for the SIP domain and point it at your IPOffice IP address

Step 2 set this name in your IPO on lan 1 interface under voip

Step 3 on your ipocc xl sheet set the sip domain name.

I tried to follow the procedure but still cannot and having new chap error "C5684a 11:20:47.604 CHAP_SIP_FrameworkError ALSIP: CLineManager::DispatchIncomingRequest() incoming request=INVITE requestURI=sip:6099@10.20.20.12 not found in URI list." 6099 is my SIP extension ans 10.20.20.12 is my IPOCC server. where I can find this URI thing?
 
yes, that exactly what i did. I raised ticket already to Avaya. tomorrow we have session, will update you. thanks crashtest1000
