What am i missing, the hard button redial does not work.
I'm using IP office manager 6.1(12) and in the users short codes i have
9 as the code, no telephone number, feature dial, and line group id as 50: [9] which the ARS designated for that user.

Please help.
Thanks

Those buttons only do not work when the users do not have call appearance buttons !!!

I tried adding the 9 to the line options and no luck.

Do the phones have a a= and b= or even a c= in the sceen ?
If not then you do not have call appearcance on the phone and those are needed like i posted before

Yes they have label is L1, Appearance as the action and action data is a=

You need two buttons
The first one has a= and the second one will get b=

I have three of them, i just changed what the label say on the phone. But the three are a=, b=, and c= as the action data.

When i press the hard redial button, it lists the recent calls and when i select the one i want to redial, it says incompatable on the phone.

>it lists the recent calls

Are the recent calls prefixed with a 9 or not?

i.e.
90123456789
or
0123456789

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Yes they are prefixed with a 9.
Thanks

Ok,

Run a system monitor of the outgoing call, particularily the targetting

Be sure your system short code is:
9N
N
Dial
ARS line group (default 50)

The reason i don't want a system short code pointing to a certain ars is that i have 2 seperate offices sending out 2 seperate caller id's. I do NOT want one or the other sending out wrong Caller IDS.

Correct me if i'm wrong though.

The system will by default send out a users DDI as CLI if they have one, if not you can specify what they send in the user short codes which you then point to the ARS.

What is a users DDI?
THanks

That's their number in an Incoming Call route if they have their own, some call it a DID.

Then you use user shortcodes and you can still point that to ARS

Get some who knows what he is doing

Ya fixing the main short code fixed the problem. Added 9N and added N to the number.

"Get some who knows what he is doing"

Why would you say something like that? I don't know what i'm doing that why i ask. And i can't learn anything if i didn't ask....so why would i want to get "SOMEONE" who knows when i can figure it out myself. Pretty lame comment buddy.
Thanks for all the help from everyone with constructive help.
