We have a 3300 IP running v6 software in a clustered configuration. We have several 5550 Operator consoles. Out of 325 rooms, there is one room that doesn't permit any changes under the Guest Service tab on any of the consoles.

When the room's extension number is entered the display shows the name of an occupant from about a month ago and none of the usual status change options (name, cleanliness status, check-in/out, etc.) work. A notification that the "room is unavailable" appears in the status bar at the bottom of the Guest Service pop-up window and suggest that the Operator "try again later."

I checked the phone programming and found the box "IDS Managed" to be checked. I compared this to the programming for several other guest room phones and found that the box wasn't checked for any of the other phones. So, on the chance this was the problem, I unchecked the box. But, that made no difference.

Any thoughts, hints, suggestions, pearls of wisdom?

Chek and see if the room extension is still in the Guest Rooms form.

SXWizard: That took care of it. Thanks. I'm used to occasionally losing sync between the 3300 and the PMS on a room or two. But this is the 1st time I've had a room up and disappear from the 3300.

If a room extension was some how deprogrammed it would remove it from the Guest Room form. If it was then programmed back the system would not put it in the Guest Room form automaticly. Maybe one of the ships ghosts did it....
