I found this amongst a selection of items in the Funny Times with the byline "Collected by M. D. Rosenberg". There was no other attribution.

"A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a workstation. What more can I say."

Recommendation: Do NOT post that otherwise hysterical quote at your desk! You're just asking for trouble!

I am running Windows - the eXtreme Problems version.

I was thinking about posting that at my desk, my boss has a pretty good sense of humor. But maybe with my TT addiction it would be wise not to push it.

A bus station is also where a bus STARTS. Same with a "train". Now that I've sucked all the fun out of the room...

The opposite of pro is con. That makes the opposite of progress... anyone, anyone?

My favorite cubicle sign used to be a very innocent looking kitten with the words: "Whatever it is that somebody did that you didn't want done I didn't do it."

I have a cartoon in my cube that shows a building with a sign on it:

Department of Redundancy Department

Which about sums it up for a lot of workplaces.

Dic mihi solum facta, domina.

I saw a bus stop that said Buses 4, 8 and 23 do not stop here

I'm the kind of person that wears my (lack of) religion on my sleve. I have a quote in my cube from Bertrand Russell:

The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatsoever that it is not utterly absurd.

Everyone who's read it has said "Hahah, that describes <our bank> all right!"

Just call me Captain Awesome.

One of those signs I will never have the balls to put up on my cubicle:

"My back has a maximum occupancy of two people, so please wait for your turn, as you have arrived fourth in line to ride my ass."

One colleague used to have the following notice on her desk

Would you mind awfully if I asked you to take your half-baked problem to someone who gives a damn

"If it could have gone wrong earlier and it didn't, it ultimately would have been beneficial for it to have." : Murphy's Ultimate Corollary

I have never heard the one about beatings and morale that SilentAiche posted (though I once had a boss who resembled it), nor the back occupancy of two sign that Trevoke spoke of. They are both very funny. Thanks for sharing.

I have two signs in my cubicle (other than the ones my son has made me over the years):
"If I throw a stick, will you leave?"
"Chaos, panic, disorder...my work here is done."

As fond as I am of these two, one of my colleagues owns my favorite:
"Yes, I am an agent of Satan, but the duties are largely ceremonial."
Thanks!

Ahhhh, cubicle signs. I love them. I have one that reads...

It's funny because it's often true.

How many times have I ever wanted to tell someone:
