Option 11
Changing PRI from TIE line currently connected to an Option 81 to go directly to a Centruy Link DID PRI
I have built the new DID Route to Century Link just like a Century Link DID route I have on the Option-81.
The RDB interface is NI2. When I try and change the DCH IFC from SL1 to NI2 on the Option 11 I am getting a
SCH6232 The interface type entered is incompatible with a CTYP of DCHI or SPDC. The CTYP must be MSDL. (To replace current version)

How do I fix this?
Thanks

What kind of T-1 card is in the Opt. 11 ? If it is the old NTAK09 then you have an onboard D-channel daughterboard that may be a DCHI card that is not compatible with NI2. Also changing the IFC type on a d-channel usually never works out very well, better to out it and rebuild it. The other type of d-channel card is the downloadable MSDL type or you can relpace it with a TMDI card.

It is a 1.5MB DTI/PRI with a CC and D-channel daughterboard

I did out the D-channel and then try and rebuild it. Same code.

You probably have the old DCHI card, I believe an NTAK93 is what it is. You will need an NTBK51BA

hanged the DCH card to the NTBK51 and now when I try and build the DCH in LD 17 I get a SCH0531

Out your trunks and route and then build the d-channel, then the route, then the trunks
