At my organization they have a school.mpr file setup to access cafs reports. When I go to click on the field trip report from the cafs menu and try to print it, it comes up with a "source out of date. Procedure 1460h0l7l not found" error message. Is there any way to correct this? Thanks

It sounds like the MPR that you're running is somehow out of synch. The best solution is to regenerate the menu. To do so, you need to have FoxPro installed, but I suspect you do.

So, in the Command Window:

MODIFY MENU School

Then, from the menu, choose Menu | Generate. You can probably accept the default settings.

I type in the command box modify menu school but I don't see the menu generate option. It just shows me all of the options that I can edit in my mpr file. Also is there a way to get rid of the command box. Everytime I launch foxpro to my mpr file the command box shows up and I cannot access any of the menu items.

My mistake. I haven't used FoxPro 2.6 for many, many years. (The current version is 9.) Look for Program | Generate on the menu.

To start the menu, you need the command DO school.mpr

If you edited the mpr file you have changed generated code and that may cause your error. You edit a menu by MODIFY school.mpr after launching the foxpro IDE and you then generate a new MPR file from the MNX file like Tamar said. It's the MNX file that keeps the menu definition, not the MPR.

Bye, Olaf.
