Gamma IPDC SIP and v8 3

Hi

I'm quite new to the IP Office system, but I've managed to get a new IPDC (IP Direct Connect) SIP trunk on our system working for inbound, but not outbound calls.
I'm sure its to do with the TO: header and/or the SIP URI Options but all the questions here on the forum reference much older releases!

Hairless, the sip transformations are turned off (according to the Firewall guy) and when I run the STUN 77.72.169.160 it's coming back and giving me "Port restricted Cone NAT" again and it's not giving me 5060 no, it seems to change every time I reboot the system, this time I have 50053

Monty I'll set it back to None then.

I also have an error showing next to the Firewall/NAT Type saying "Communication is not possible unless the STUN server is supported on the same IP address as the ITSP.

That error means you are running STUN against a different LAN port than the trunk is going to use

amriddle, please excuses my ignorants but is that what's causing my problem? and if so is it something the firewall chap can fix?

When I have seen that error, it's when you run STUN on LAN1 for example but have configured your SIP trunk to use LAN2 or None and the IP route it will follow uses LAN2

OK the IT guy at the company we are trying to get this working for tells me he might have a spare public IP address we can use.

If we scrap trying to use the STUN and assign this IP to the IPO and get Gamma to point the SIP trunk to the new IP should this work? or is the IPO still going to output it's internal IP in the header packets back to Gamma?

I was just going off the gamma installs i have done and realised the site i was thinking about had the lan1 on a external ip but i do have stun running. im trying to upload the file via media fire but it is not playing

Hairless, are you asking me? I'd try anything at this point to get it up and running, Gamma are telling me there is another option where they can change something at their end which they do for Mitel kit but it'll mean any options I could configure via the portal like failover settings and changing the IP address of where the SIP trunk is pointing wouldn't work.

registered" the trunk makes and recieves calls fine .We ususally use voiceflex so this one was a bit hit and miss and i was going off a 4.2 doc, what would you suggest to tidy ?
