Gamma IPDC SIP and v8 3

Hi

I'm quite new to the IP Office system, but I've managed to get a new IPDC (IP Direct Connect) SIP trunk on our system working for inbound, but not outbound calls.
I'm sure its to do with the TO: header and/or the SIP URI Options but all the questions here on the forum reference much older releases!

oh and regard's to all the incoming call routes, that's not my doing, the IT guy did that after I installed the system, I'm sure most of it can be deleted and tidied up but I'd like to get his SIP trunk working first so I can port some numbers over :)

You should see his other system this is SCN'd with he's got a load of extension numbers starting at 0001 :s

No matter what you do to it, if it's on the internet and you post the address (or someone sniffs it and notices the MAC is an Avaya 00E07 etc one) I and others can interrogate it get the system password and as a minimum take it down completely so it needs DTEing to come back up :)

 
I'm not sure what the sonicwall chap has done but I've now got 2 way speech but the call drops after about 40 seconds and Gamma say they are seeing lots of 200 ok's which is odd as normally they'd only see 1 when the call is first initiated :s

I watched the call on SSA and it just drops around 30-40 seconds

Gamma say they see my "Bye" when I hang up after the call has gone my end but get no response back from the IPO

Maybe I just tell them to keep there convo's short lol
 
Post a monitor trace, I think the sonicwall is still screwing things up :)

 
Do you want a monitor trace with everything selected or just the SIP Tab options?
 
your calls trying to route out over voiceflex? should they be?

I though you were configuring Gamma Trunks?

Im confused whats what now.

Also get rid of "voiceflex" out of the domain name.

its configured either with a proper domain name like sip.voiceflex.com or only the ITSP Proxy address.

There are 2 sip trunks on the system, The voiceflex trunk has been working for a few months now and I'm now trying to add this 2nd Gamma trunk.

If the call I just made is trying to go out over voiceflex then something is very wrong.

Some data must be getting back to Gamma though as I have 2 way speech for around 40 seconds?
 
I'm not great at looking at these monitor trace's but I can see my call being received on the Gamma trunk 18 and then transmitting back out to the gamma IP addresses, doesn't look like it's trying to go out on Voiceflex but I may well be wrong.

The other Voiceflex trunk is 17 and is used for incoming calls only
 
You dont have anything in ARS to route calls out over gamma?

your SIP ARS is N"@93.95.124.7" <<-- Voiceflex

your MAIN ARS and system dial code routes over ISDN.

The Gamma trunk will only be used for Incoming calls also, it's only on the system as we need to port some numbers from eurobell and voiceflex don't have an agreement in place with them but Gamma do.
 
Hi All,

I did get this Gamma Sip trunk working in the end and thought I'd share the config for anyone who may need help, the incomming call routes for the voiceflex sip trunk are still a bit untidy but this is all about getting the Gamma trunk working :)
